Charlie Beall grew up on a small farm in South Carolina. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in the behavioral sciences and business and served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He has two children.
Charlie serves as CEO of a private investment and international management consulting firm that he founded in 1981. He has acquired and operated companies in the medical devices, virtual learning systems, engineered products and custom home building industries. He also serves as an advisor to major corporations on business strategy, operating performance improvement and leadership development.
Charlie has participated in disaster response and humanitarian relief operations around the world for many years. His focus is on the protection and care of orphans and abandoned children living in extreme poverty. Charlie founded Critical Path Foundation following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti in January 2010. Critical Path provides clean water, food, shelter and medical care for severely impoverished children in the Caribbean region.
